Digital ad campaign

Boncom approached us to create a fully animated digital ad campaign on an extremely tight timeline, complete with characters, vehicles, and detailed backgrounds. We quickly realized that delivering the level of animation required within a two-week deadline would have been nearly impossible without incorporating AI into the workflow. By leveraging Google Gemini, we were able to accelerate production and successfully deliver the campaign on time.

Streamlined Animation at Scale

To keep the project visually polished while meeting the aggressive timeline, we designed the animation style around subtle, efficient motion. Each character was brought to life with small details like eye blinks, smiles, and slight head tilts rather than complex full-body animation.

The campaign included seven unique characters, seven vehicles, and seven illustrated environments. Backgrounds were created and animated using AI-assisted workflows, which helped dramatically speed up production while maintaining a cohesive visual style. Aside from a few minor adjustments to vehicle tire rotations, the entire process ran smoothly from concept through final delivery.

Delivering AI-Assisted Animation Across Every Format

Digital advertising campaigns rarely live in a single format. Each platform requires its own specifications, aspect ratios, resolutions, and motion considerations. For the “Choosing Your Driver” campaign, every animation needed to be adapted for multiple placements while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the entire rollout.

AI-assisted workflow

Using an AI-assisted workflow allowed us to rapidly generate and iterate on assets while keeping production efficient under a tight deadline. Characters, vehicles, and environments were designed with flexibility in mind so they could easily be reformatted for a wide range of digital ad sizes and layouts.
