We often work with start ups to launch or promote their products or services. Cents is one of those startups working to launch a mobile app to help people pay down their debts.
This video was a lot of fun to make. Most startup videos are tons of fun mainly due to the energy of the founders. Cents is a mobile app that helps you pay down your debt by using your spare change from purchases. With Cents we started from scratch, beginning with the script. The script is the basis for all animation work. When we completed the script, we moved on to designs. It took a couple of style frames before we nailed something that we liked, but then after that we were on a roll. This video does its job very well, by explaining in 1 minute what Cents is and how it works. This video was used by Cents on their home page, and with social media advertising to gather leads for their launch.
